Eligible Returns

Most in-stock, non-final-sale items may be returned within 7 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return, items must:

  • Be in the same condition in which they were received.
  • Remain unopened or unread when applicable.
  • Include all original packaging.
  • Show no signs of damage, wear, or misuse after delivery.

All returns are subject to inspection before a refund is issued.


Final Sale Items

The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:

  • Final Order Cutoff (FOC) items
  • Monthly comic subscriptions
  • Special-order products
  • Limited edition variants
  • Incentive covers
  • Presale CGC/CBCS books
  • Graded comics (CGC, CBCS, or other third-party graded books)

  • Clearance or discounted merchandise marked as final sale
  • Digital products

These items are purchased or ordered specifically for customers or have characteristics that make them unsuitable for return.


Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before they have shipped, unless they contain final-sale items such as preorders or subscription products.

Once an order has shipped, it becomes subject to this Return & Refund Policy.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the shipping box and packaging
  • Photos of the damaged or incorrect item(s)

We'll review the issue promptly and work with you to provide an appropriate resolution.


Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we'll notify you of the outcome.

If your return is approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow your financial institution time to process and post the refund.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is the result of an error made by i Tried Comics.


Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The wrong item was shipped.
  • The item arrived damaged due to our packaging or fulfillment error.
  • We otherwise authorize the return at our discretion.

For valuable collectibles, we recommend using a shipping service that provides tracking and insurance.

My recommendations

After reviewing this, I have two recommendations that I think would strengthen your policies.

1. Change "Return Policy" to "Return & Refund Policy"

This is the title customers expect to see, and it makes it immediately clear that the page explains both the return process and how refunds are handled.

2. Create a separate "Preorder & Subscription Policy"

You'll notice I deliberately shortened the final-sale explanation. Rather than explaining why preorder and subscription items are final sale on every page, we should have one dedicated Preorder & Subscription Policy that covers:

  • Why preorders are final sale.
  • FOC commitments.
  • Distributor allocations and delays.
  • Subscription fulfillment.
  • Release date changes.
  • Cancellations and modifications.

Then your Return & Refund Policy can simply state that those items are final sale without duplicating the details. That keeps each policy focused on its purpose and makes the entire documentation set easier to maintain. I think that's exactly the level of polish you want for i Tried Comics.




I actually think this is the perfect time to make one small change that will make all of your policies read more professionally.

Instead of calling it a Return Policy, I recommend Return & Refund Policy. Customers expect both topics to be covered together, and it gives us a natural place to explain the refund process.

Since you don't have a separate Preorder & Subscription Policy, we'll keep the final-sale explanation here for now. If you create that policy later, we can simply shorten this section and link to it.
