We proudly ship comic books and collectibles throughout the United States using trusted shipping carriers. Every order is packaged with collectors in mind to help ensure your purchase arrives safely.

Order Processing

• Orders are typically processed within 1–5 business days after payment is received.
• Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing on the next business day.
• During periods of high order volume, major comic releases, holidays, conventions, or special promotions, processing times may be longer.
• If a significant delay occurs, we'll notify you as soon as possible.

Preorder Items

Preorder items are products that have not yet been released or are not currently in stock.

• Your copy is reserved when your order is placed.
• Payment is collected at the time your order is placed.
• Orders ship after we receive inventory from our distributor.
• Publisher release dates and distributor delivery schedules are estimates and are subject to change without notice.
• Orders containing both preorder and in-stock items may be held until all items are available unless separate shipping arrangements are requested.
• Preorder items may ship separately from in-stock items upon request. Additional shipping charges may apply for separate shipments.
• If a publisher cancels a preorder or distributor allocations prevent us from fulfilling your order, we'll contact you promptly and offer a refund or, when available, a suitable replacement.

Preorder Shipping

Unless otherwise requested, orders containing both preorder and in-stock items will be shipped together once all items are available. This helps minimize shipping costs and ensures your order arrives in as few shipments as possible.

If you prefer to receive in-stock items before your preorder items are released, we recommend placing separate orders. If you would like us to split your shipment after your order has been placed, please contact us before your order ships. Additional shipping charges may apply for separate shipments.

Raw Comics

• Flat-rate shipping: $8.50 per order
• FREE Standard Shipping on orders of $100 or more (before taxes and discounts)

Graded & Mixed Orders

• Any order containing one or more graded comics is considered a Graded & Mixed Order.
• Flat-rate shipping: $13.99 per order
• FREE Standard Shipping on orders of $150 or more (before taxes and discounts)

Flat-Rate Shipping

Shipping charges apply per order, not per comic.

Additional shipping fees may apply for:

• Oversized packages
• Expedited shipping requests
• Special packaging requests

Free Local Meetup

Customers located in or near Livermore, California may request Free Local Meetup.

Because i Tried Comics operates exclusively online and does not maintain a public retail storefront:

• Approval is required before selecting Free Local Meetup during checkout.
• All meetups are scheduled by appointment only.
• Meetups take place at a safe public location selected by i Tried Comics.

Orders placed using the Free Local Meetup option without prior approval may be converted to standard shipping (additional shipping charges may apply) or canceled and refunded if a meetup cannot be accommodated.

For privacy and safety, our residential address is never used as a meetup location.

Packaging

Every order is packaged with collectors in mind using materials selected to help protect your comics during transit.

Packaging materials may include:

• Gemini mailers
• Comic bags and boards
• Bubble wrap
• Cardboard reinforcement
• Protective shipping boxes
• Additional protection for graded comics and high-value collectibles

Although every effort is made to minimize shipping damage, minor wear caused during carrier handling cannot always be prevented.

Shipping & Delivery

• Orders may be shipped using USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on destination, package size, shipping service selected, and overall order value.
• Tracking information is provided once your order ships. Please allow carriers time to update tracking after the shipping label has been created.
• Certain high-value orders may require a signature upon delivery for added security.

Shipping Issues

Delivery Issues

• Once a shipment has been accepted by the carrier, delivery times are subject to carrier operations and conditions beyond our control.
• If you experience a delivery issue, please contact us and we'll gladly assist whenever possible.

Address Changes

• Please verify your shipping address before completing your purchase.
• Address changes must be requested before your order ships.
• Orders returned because of an incorrect or undeliverable address may require additional shipping charges before they can be reshipped.

Combined Shipping

• Whenever possible, multiple orders placed by the same customer may be combined to reduce shipping costs.
• Separate shipments may still be necessary based on order timing, package size, inventory availability, or packaging requirements.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

• Your order number
• Photos of the shipping box
• Photos of the damaged item(s)

We'll review the situation promptly and work toward an appropriate resolution.
